About This Role
The Audio/Visual Crew transforms standard conference rooms, boardrooms, and collaboration spaces into fully integrated meeting and presentation environments for Fortune 500 corporate clients. These technicians install, terminate, program, and commission AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, sound reinforcement, and control systems from manufacturers like Crestron, Biamp, Poly, and Logitech.
Key Responsibilities

Mount displays (LCD/LED panels, video walls, projectors, projection screens) using VESA brackets, ceiling mounts, and custom mounting solutions

Install and configure video conferencing systems (Crestron, Poly, Logitech Rally/Sight, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms)

Pull and terminate AV-specific cabling including HDMI, HDBaseT (Cat6/Cat6A), speaker wire, control wiring, and USB extenders

Install and tune audio systems including ceiling speakers, soundbars, DSPs (Biamp TesiraFORTE, QSC Q-SYS), and microphone arrays

Program Crestron or Extron control processors and touch panels for room automation and AV switching
06
Deploy digital signage displays and media players, configure content management connections
07
Conduct full system commissioning: test all AV inputs/outputs, calibrate audio, verify video quality, and train end users
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial AV installation
Hands-on experience with major UC platforms: Crestron, Poly, Logitech, Biamp, QSC, or Extron
Proficiency in pulling and terminating AV cabling (HDMI, HDBaseT, speaker wire, Cat6, fiber)
Ability to read AV system design drawings, signal flow diagrams, and one-line diagrams
OSHA 10 certification
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
Preferred
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) from AVIXA
Crestron Certified Programmer or Crestron Certified Installer
Biamp Tesira or QSC Q-SYS Level 1 certification
Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms certified hardware

Physical Requirements

Ability to work at heights on ladders and lifts to mount displays, projectors, and speakers; lift up to 60 lbs2
Fine dexterity for soldering, connector crimping, and cable termination in tight spaces behind displays and inside furniture3
